Thanksgiving in Abu Dhabi

The holidays were hard being away from our family.
But we had a big Thanksgiving with the American family's from Dad's
work. We also had joining us Australians, Scot's, French, New Zealand
and Pakistani.

We did not take many photos so here is a little view from the kitchen.

Dragon Boat Races

One weekend in November we went to support Mark's company Abu Dhabi MAR participating in the Dragon Boat Races.

They won all of their heats and came in third in the finials.

Al Ain Zoo

The Al Ain Zoo is near Jebel Hafeet. On our day out we visit both.

The zoo is over 400 hectares. It is one of the largest in the gulf region.

The day that we went it was very hot. So we only did half of the zoo so we will go
later this winter . At the time we will upload more photos..
